Two projects supported by Reggefiber have had to face defeat. Both were unable to reach the required sign-up rate for the project to commence. See more at my new blog Internet Thought

This blog is now on hiatus!
Telecommunications guy from The Netherlands, but living in Paris. I got into the telecommunications world through running Twente University's campus network: one of the first broadband networks in world (100mbit/s in 1998). First job was to establish an Internet Exchange in the east of the Netherlands (NDIX). After that I worked as telecommunications policy analyst and strategist at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and wrote a paper on fibre for the OECD. Then I was a management and strategy consultant and as of january 2011.
I am a telecom analyst at the OECD, so this blog is on hiatus. All the stuff on is my private opinion from before I worked at the OECD.
I generally work from the ideal situation back to the realistic proposition. All opinions here are my own. All faults are mine too. :-)
